Hello! I am Robin Booker, Labor & Postpartum Doula stationed in the heart of Portland, Oregon. Trained through Birthingway College of Midwifery. I am currently training to become a certified lactation counselor. I created Robin’s Nest Doula Services out of my passion for birth, helping healthy families, and making mommys feel like the queens that they are during this momentous time in their life.

I’ve been in the field of childcare for as long as I can remember. With summer jobs at daycare centers and babysitting for my neighborhood, a love for children was cultivated early in my life. I also loved learning anything I could about the human body so working in the medical field was a no brainer.

Taking care of others is something that I’ve been doing my whole life, but it wasn’t until my own journey with my daughter’s birth that I realized that not every pregnant woman feels cared for or safe. After years of listening to the experiences of women around me, I was disappointed to hear that my experience was not common. I wanted to do whatever I could to change that.

When I’m not with my clients I’m spending time with my beautiful family. As a mom of a preteen and a wife of almost 13 years to my amazing husband quality time is #1 on our list. other than that I’m your textbook “around the way” girl. I like to crochet and read but good company, good food and good music are what feed my soul. A Portland girl through and through. Born and raised this is where I call home.
