Melissa Sencion

I remember as a child being mesmerized by my aunts growing belly knowing that something special was happening. Once my cousin was born I immediately gravitated towards my aunt wanting to help her with anything and everything she’d allow me to, even if it meant just sitting and watching. I was six years old. I now know that I am called to nurture others and love being present to hold space, guide, and reassure.

As a doula I am committed to providing evidence-based information to help you prepare for birth and support decision-making. In the birth room I provide physical support, comfort measures, and advocacy for you and your partner. I follow your lead, and encourage you to trust your intuition and your body.

I am a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula with DONA International awaiting certification. I am also trained in Spinning Babies, Trauma Informed Care, and hold a masters degree in Exercise Science. In addition, I am bilingual speaking fluent Spanish and English and take pride and joy in being able to support and serve the Spanish Speaking community.

I am a wife and mom to a beautiful, energetic, and loving baby girl and four-legged fur baby. My spare time is often spent outdoors with my family or cuddled up on the couch. I also LOVE food and am more than happy to spend time with clients over a delicious meal or pastry.
