(She/They) identifies as being a Black Queer trauma informed full spectrum doula, an educator, herbal enthusiast and licensed massage and Craniosacral Therapist.

She is the owner of In Search of A Garden: Birth & Bodywork LLC located in Portland, Oregon.

Catherine began the journey of birth work at the age of 12 by assisting with family birth and death processes and learning directly from the women in her family. A former dancer, she has always had a deep love of the body and it’s capabilities. Catherine holds a degree in Africana Studies with a focus in Ritual/Birth in the Antebellum South from Brown University, a former Education Intern at Trinity Repertory Co. and additional certifications including herbal studies, yoga, and doula training.
