Hi Future CDA Family!

My pronouns are She/They and I identify as being a Black Queer trauma informed full spectrum doula, an educator, herbal enthusiast and licensed massage and Craniosacral Therapist.

I am the owner of In Search of A Garden: Birth & Bodywork LLC located in Portland, Oregon.

I began the journey of birth work at the age of 12 by assisting with family birth and death processes and learning directly from the women in my family. As a former dancer, I have always had a deep love of the body and it’s capabilities. I hold a degree in Africana Studies with a focus in Ritual/Birth in the Antebellum South from Brown University, a former Education Intern at Trinity Repertory Co. and my additional certifications including herbal studies, yoga, and doula training.
