Meet & Hire Nakeia

Hi Future CDA Family!

Wóyawašte! My name is Nakeia, and in addition to multiple Birth Doula trainings and certifications, I hold a degree in Infant & Early Child Development, and have over 20 years’ experience in child & family advocacy and early education.

I am the mother of 3 beautiful grown children, 1 of them now on Spirit side. It was that tragic yet defining moment that led me to my life path as a Birth Doula, and it has filled me with a profound sense of purpose ever since.

I am mixed race, of the First Nation Lakota and Saskatchewan People, and I utilize these healing practices, as well as other modalities that I’m intuitively called to, in a way that each of my Mamas and Birthing person need most. This results in being able to help each person in the way that is tailored to them, specifically.

I am absolutely honored to be a part of your unique and most sacred Birth journey!
