Hi Future CDA Family!

I’m Lilian, a CHW/PSS/CLC/Birth Doula born and raised in Kenya. I previously worked with Kenyan Parliament for 10 years before moving to the U.S and settling in Portland Oregon, where I provide emotional services to moms with a focus on being culturally specific to Swahili speaking moms with language barriers. My intention is to provide you with support towards your ideal birth whether it is a vaginal birth, epidural, cesarean. 

In addition to having a degree in business administration, I work with the African Family Holistic Health Organization on maternal health with women from all over Africa with a caring nature. I have travelled the world bringing in the vibrance and richness from Mother Africa.

As a mother of two grown up kids, I am self-driven and passionate about empowering women in the community, educating, informing, and supporting them during their birth experience, especially Swahili speaking women, I am passionate about my work and always trying to impact my community. I love combining my bilingual background and rich culture into the organization through my support, advocacy and empowerment for women.
