THW/Medicaid Doula & Private Pay

I’ve always been determined to make a meaningful impact in my community. Witnessing my mother give birth sparked a deep passion in me for maternal and infant care. And the moment I learned what a doula was, I knew I had found my calling.

With a naturally nurturing spirit, I’m driven to help lower the maternal and infant mortality and morbidity rates in this country, especially among Black families and those affected by mental health and addiction. I’ve seen too many loved ones fall victim to preventable circumstances, and that pain pushed me to take action and become the support I wish they had.

Today, I take pride in being a trusted resource in my community, offering evidence-based information so individuals can feel empowered as they navigate pregnancy, lactation, and parenthood. I believe childbirth is a sacred and transformative experience, and I strive to prepare my clients holistically—mentally, emotionally, and physically—for that powerful moment.

My clients know they are not alone. They have someone by their side who will advocate for them, uplift them, and honor their choices without judgment. Every journey is different, and I’m here to support each one with compassion and respect.

I believe real change starts at the roots, because that’s where healing begins and where families have the chance to truly blossom.

I am a certified Full Spectrum Doula, trained by SMC Doulas and DONA, a Certified Lactation Education Specialist, a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Advocate, and a Peer Wellness Specialist. This work is not just what I do, it’s who I am.
