About Community Doula Alliance

Community Doula Alliance is a Black-led non-profit organization committed to addressing maternal and infant health disparities. Our mission is to provide modern, professional, and relevant training for birth workers, ensuring that every family has access to exceptional doula care. Based in Portland, Oregon, we support families and train the next generation of doulas to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Our organization was founded with the vision of creating equitable health outcomes for all families. We offer a range of programs and services designed to educate and empower doulas, while advocating for systemic changes in maternal and infant healthcare. Traditional Health Worker (THW) Credentialed Doula

Portland, OR

Provide compassionate support to families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods. Must be THW credentialed with the state of Oregon and have lived experience in one or more marginalized communities (Black, Indigenous, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latinx, LGBTQ2IA+, mental health, addiction, etc.).
